What is AdBlue?

AdBlue is an operating fluid for Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology, which is now available on some commercial vehicles. AdBlue is not a fuel or fuel additive; it is injected into the exhaust system.

AdBlue is a high-purity urea solution complying with the Standards of ISO 22241 and DIN 70070. It also complies with CEFIC regulations to safeguard the correct functioning of Selective Catalytic Reduction equipment (SCR) and chemically reduces NOx emissions from heavy-duty diesel powered vehicles. AdBlue is not explosive, toxic or harmful to the environment and is classified under the minimum-risk category of transportable fluids.

Air1®, the leading AdBlue brand in Europe, is meeting the growing demand for this new product.
